Job summary

Elemaster Group Electronic Technologies in Duluth, GA is seeking a PC Board Test Technician to install and maintain test systems, software, and equipment and troubleshoot production hardware down to the component level.

The role requires 3–7 years in the electronics industry, with an associate degree or trade certification preferred and an electronics or related degree favored. The position follows a 1st shift Monday–Friday schedule and is based in Duluth, GA.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support production with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of false failures, and downtime of test equipment.
• Support production with production testing when needed.
• Provide training in new procedures to production testing staff.
• Maintain customer-supplied test equipment inventory.
• Troubleshoot failed production hardware to the component level.
• Maintain and program the AOI inspection station.
• Maintain and debug the flying probe tester.

Reports to: Test Engineer

The PC Board Test Technician will be based in Duluth, GA, and is responsible for installing and maintaining test systems, software, and equipment, and troubleshooting production hardware to the component level.

Responsibilities

• Support production with failure analysis, tester debugging, reduction of false failures, and downtime of test equipment.
• Support production with production testing when needed.
• Provide training in new procedures to production testing staff
• Maintaining customer-supplied test equipment inventory.
• Troubleshoot failed production hardware to the component level.
• Maintain and program the AOI inspection station.
• Maintain and debug the flying probe tester.

Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of experience in a similar position in electronic industry is required
• An Associate Degree, Trade/Vocational School certificate, or Equivalent is preferred.
• A degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred.
