Job summary

Actalent in Simpsonville, SC is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain PCBA test fixtures and production test systems for manufacturing and NPI. Troubleshoot board- and system-level electrical failures, validate test equipment and power electronics, document test processes, and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure robust test coverage and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.
• At least five years of experience in electrical, test, or manufacturing test engineering.
• Strong PCBA fixture and manufacturing test system design experience; proficiency with Altium Designer, electrical troubleshooting and failure analysis; familiarity with power electronics.

Job description

Troubleshoot and analyze board- and system-level electrical failures, validate test systems and power electronics, document test processes, and collaborate with and mentor cross-functional teams.

Requirements

Requires a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field and at least five years of experience in electrical, test, or manufacturing test engineering. Candidates should have strong PCBA fixture and manufacturing test system design experience, proficiency with Altium Designer, electrical troubleshooting and failure analysis skills, and familiarity with power electronics; NI hardware, TestStand, and LabVIEW are highly preferred.
