Job summary

MDMARTIN LLC in Fort Worth, TX seeks a MB Solder Tech to perform soldering and rework on motherboards at our Fort Worth facility.

You will follow rework instructions, adhere to 5S standards, and meet KPI targets while recording daily ESD audits and ensuring board quality before moving to the next station.

Requirements include high school diploma, 6+ months soldering experience, proficiency with MS Excel, and IPC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• IPC certification preferred.
• 6+ months soldering experience.
• MS Excel used to read instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform solder work based on rework/repair requirement.
• Follow rework and repair instructions and operational procedures.
• Check CID and ensure the MB is good before solder work is performed.
• Check for excessive flux residue and solder; clean using alcohol and cloth.
• Check for cold and short solder pads.
• Check for Solder Bridge and shifted pads/pins.
• Check for correct polarity.
• Brush properly to remove solder splash and balls.
• Make sure the MB is clean before moving to the next station.
• Organize good parts and non-conforming parts.
• Meet and exceed KPI defined to meet business and operational requirements.
• Turn in KPI report end of the day.
• Check and keep record for ESD audit daily and follow 5S.
• Utilize the company’s time to be efficient and productive; punctuality from breaks.
• When required, work assignments can change based on project needs like inspection, testing, data input.
