Job summary

Employnet, Inc. is seeking a Rework Operator in Carson City, NV to perform PCB rework, soldering repairs, and manual assembly updates in the hardware manufacturing division.

You will fix defects in complex PCBAs identified during server integration testing, operate equipment such as rework stations and X-ray inspection tools, and ensure compliance with IPC standards and QCM requirements. Candidates should have 3–4 years of relevant experience and a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, or IPC 7711/7721 standards experience required.
• Typically 3–4 years of technical manufacturing experience in electronic component repair and assembly.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds; pass background check.

Responsibilities

• PCBA Board Repair: perform precision rework and component modifications on SMT and PTH assemblies.
• Precision Soldering: hand soldering and touch-up work to exact specifications.
• Advanced Tool Operation: operate BGA rework stations, X-ray equipment, pre-heating tables, and hot air guns.
• Process Compliance: adhere to leaded and lead-free processes and QCM standards.
• Documentation and Routing: review defect patterns, create inspection reports, and adjust MES configurations.
• New Hire Guidance: demonstrate standard work methods and safety protocols to new technicians.
