Job summary
SOMACIS, Inc. is seeking a Quotation Specialist in Poway, CA to review RFQs and prepare accurate, competitive quotes for PCB fabrication. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing to reflect true production capability, cost, and lead times, helping win new business.
The role requires 2+ years in manufacturing/quoting, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with Gerber and fabrication drawings. On-site work with full-time schedule.
Qualifications
- Review RFQ packages and determine manufacturability and cost.
- Prepare accurate price quotes for PCB fabrication based on specs and production capability.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to clarify specs and negotiate terms.
- Coordinate with engineering, planning and manufacturing to confirm feasibility and lead times.
- Maintain quote records and follow up to convert quotes to orders.
Responsibilities
- Review RFQ packages (Gerber, drill files, drawings, specs).
- Prepare timely, accurate quotes for PCB fabrication.
- Clarify specs and negotiate terms with customers and internal teams.
- Coordinate feasibility and lead times with engineering and manufacturing.
- Track quoting activity and follow ups to convert quotes to orders.
- Maintain organized quote records in ERP/quoting system.
