Qualifications

• Experience performing visual inspection of complex assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret documentation and reference materials.
• Familiar with Windows operating systems and basic PC software.
• Knowledge of electrical principles related to quality control.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Ability to communicate with managers and customers about quality issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform intricate visual inspection of complex assemblies to ensure conformance.
• Verify machine setup prior to running assemblies.
• Select and read appropriate documentation from a broad range of reference materials.
• Apply knowledge of QC standards to pass/fail decisions.
• Access customer quality inspection systems and communicate quality issues.
• Determine cause and effect of defects and refer findings for correction.
• Review and approve solutions or escalate to Quality Supervisor as needed.
• Train other employees in Quality Control processes and procedures.
• Ensure parts conform to customer quality standards and move parts to workstation as needed.
