Benchmark Electronics Inc is hiring a Production Inspector II for Shift 4 in Winona, MN. The role requires routine visual, mechanical and electrical inspection of PCBs, systems, and sub-assemblies to ensure quality per standards.

You will follow Process Sheets, inspect soldering and markings, manage paperwork, and utilize ERP and inspection tools. The position supports a 24/7 global operation and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in basic electronics manufacturing.
• 2+ years of advanced electronics inspection (AOI).
• Ability to train diverse groups and work with others.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows detailed Process Sheets and instructions.
• Inspects components, soldering, markings for quality across multiple technologies.
• .obtains paperwork and verifies dates and documentation.
• Verifies placement, polarity and labels on circuit boards.
• Uses defect codes to identify defects and route boards to rework/repair.
• Performs minimal rework/repair and hand-solder operations when needed.
• Enters counts into ERP (Baan) and data into PFS.
• Maintains accurate process documentation and suggests improvements.
• Works with limited supervision and mentors others in inspection area.
