Job summary

Rocket EMS, Inc. seeks a QC Inspector to ensure high-reliability PCB assemblies meet strict quality standards. You will perform SMT First Article Inspections, monitor production quality, and have authority to stop a line if quality is at risk.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of IPC workmanship standards (Class 2 & 3).
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and BOMs.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Outlook.
• English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Review MPI, Deviations, ECOs, and Customer Requirements before inspection.
• Perform SMT First Article Inspections and verify IPC-A-610 compliance.
• Monitor throughput and quality; stop production for major defects and escalate as needed.
• Provide daily quality pass-down reports to leads and supervisors.
• Raise and review Technical Inquiries for discrepancies; ensure proper authorization.
• Support bottleneck areas as directed by Supervisor, Engineer, or Manager.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the Quality Manager.
• Follow ESD/MSD handling, housekeeping, safety, and inspection protocols.
• Suggest and support continuous process and quality improvements.
