Job summary

Assembly Technologies Inc is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for 1st shift to perform visual and dimensional inspection on mechanical and electronic components, including PCB assemblies. The role requires following inspection procedures, reading drawings and BOMs, and ensuring zero-defect quality for the end customer.

The incumbent will use microscopes and fine hand tools, maintain a clean work area, and adhere to ESD and safety regulations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or familiarity with PCB inspection including IPC-610/IPC-J-STD-001 standards.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, BOMs and work instructions.
• Excellent eye-hand coordination with color perception and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of soldering processes, conformal coating, and ESD controls is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive visual/dimensional inspection on mechanical and electronic components.
• Visually inspect PCB assemblies using microscopes and fine hand tools as needed.
• Follow drawings, specs, BOMs and work instructions for in-process inspections.
• Act as the point of final inspection ensuring product quality for the end customer.
