Job summary

Quality Engineer Leader in Seymour, Connecticut for a leading electronics manufacturer. You will lead the quality assurance effort, collaborate on the production floor with engineering and manufacturing to evaluate and resolve PCB and PCBA defects in real time, and ensure strict IPC-610 and IPC-6003 compliance.

The ideal candidate has strong SMT/PCB/PCBA expertise, hands-on experience on the production floor, and a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Qualifications

Strong background in SMT, PCB, and PCBA processes; defect resolution experience.
Experience on the production floor working with manufacturing and engineering teams.
Familiarity with IPC-610 and IPC-6003 standards and application in quality control.

Responsibilities

Evaluate and resolve PCB/PCBA defects in real time with production and engineering teams.
Lead efforts to improve solder joint quality and overall reliability.
Provide technical guidance and support to manufacturing teams on quality issues.
Document defect trends and implement corrective actions to maintain standards.
