Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Supply Chain Planner for PCB/PCBA to own demand and supply planning for board-level hardware supporting Starlink production. You will manage BOMs, drive accurate demand signals, and optimize inventory across prototype through ramp to mass production.

The role involves cross-functional work with engineering, quality, and procurement, leveraging ERP and analytical tools to reduce risk, improve on-time delivery, and enable rapid pace production in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1+ years in engineering, purchasing, or supply chain, or 3+ years without degree.
• Experience planning and supporting production for electronics hardware and BOMs.
• Proven cross-functional collaboration on NPI projects and ramp.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and purchasing/planning functions.
• SQL and data-analysis skills helpful for reporting and dashboards.
• Lean Six Sigma/APICS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain BOM accuracy in MRP systems for PCB/PCBA and electronic subassemblies.
• Aggregate demand for PCB/PCBA to generate accurate signals for rate production.
• Set inventory targets, review line balances, and manage master data.
• Mitigate risk with a clear supply plan meeting quality and schedule needs.
• Educate teams on MRP usage and benefits to the business.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and sourcing on changes and obsolescence.
• Partner with procurement on long-term supply and safety stock strategies.
• Ensure readiness for prototypes, pilot builds, and mass production.
• Proactively manage inventory and optimize working capital use.
• Report MRP health metrics and improve visibility with analytics dashboards.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and government regulations.
