Job summary

Pioneer Circuits, Inc. is seeking a Front‑End Engineering Manager in California to lead Planning and CAM Engineering, ensuring accurate, manufacturable data from customer requirements and on‑time release.

You will guide teams, optimize workflows, and collaborate across departments to improve manufacturability and drive continuous improvement. Ideal candidates have extensive PCB manufacturing experience, leadership skills, and familiarity with Valor Genesis/ProCIM.

Qualifications

Leadership experience managing engineering or technical teams in PCB manufacturing.
Comprehensive knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes including rigid, flex, and rigid‑flex.
Strong understanding of Planning Engineering, CAM Engineering, DFM, and engineering release processes.
Experience with Valor Genesis, ProCIM, and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Lead Planning Engineering and CAM Engineering teams, establishing priorities and coaching staff.
Oversee the front‑end engineering workflow from order review to manufacturing release to ensure on‑time, accurate documentation.
Manage department workload and staffing to support production schedules and customer commitments.
Provide guidance on complex PCB technologies such as high‑layer counts, sequential lamination, rigid‑flex constructions.
Ensure customer drawings and specifications are translated into manufacturable documentation.
Collaborate with Sales, Quality, Manufacturing to resolve issues and enable successful product launches.
Establish and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
