Job summary

Starlink seeks a Chemical Engineer, PCB to lead state-of-the-art production processes for PCB fabrication at the Bastrop facility. You will design and implement environmentally friendly recycling strategies and mass-production processes, serving as a multi-disciplinary expert in PCB fabrication.

You will own PCB production processes from initial machine design to hands-on DOE work, working with senior leadership during critical design phases and helping scale operations to support a growing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 1+ years of experience in chemical engineering design, analysis, and/or system implementation (internship and extracurricular experience is applicable)
• Master’s degree preferred in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, environmental, or related technical discipline

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes, equipment, technologies, and facilities such as plating and etching lines.
• Analyze production processes and machinery using first principles and physics-based approaches.
• Design experiments using DOE and statistical methods to diagnose/manufacture problems.
• Perform defect characterization to determine root causes and improve yields.
• Create project plans, budgets, and cost/benefit analyses for new processes or machines.
• Lead machine activation/testing with engineers and technicians and coordinate with senior leadership.
