Job summary

The Davis Companies Inc. in Rochester, NY is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Inspector on a 6-month contract to ensure PCB/electronics quality and compliance.

You will inspect incoming parts, coordinate disposition of purged materials, and generate change requests from written procedures. Must have IPC 610/620 certifications or prior certification, HS diploma, 2+ years in quality inspection, and familiarity with Oracle, Agile, MS Office, Copilot.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years of related experience in quality inspection.
• IPC 610 and 620 certifications preferred.
• Experience with inspection of sheet metal and/or cables & wire assembly preferred.
• Familiarity with Oracle, Agile, MS Office, and Copilot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of incoming parts, materials, and components.
• Coordinate the collection and disposition of purged materials.
• Assist in determining methods and procedures for inspection.
• Work from written procedures, drawings, and specifications.
• Generate Engineering Change Requests for drawing issues noted during inspections.
