Job summary

KP Staffing is hiring an experienced PCB/PCBA Assembly Lead in Fort Worth, TX to provide hands-on leadership in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment.

The role coordinates daily workflow for assembly technicians, supports production output, and ensures work is completed safely and in compliance with quality and ESD requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing/production, including 1+ year in a lead or leadership role.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing such as PCB/PCBA assembly, board handling, testing, inspection.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail and coaching/communication abilities.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document production.
• Able to stand/bend/move for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily work assignments for PCBA assembly operators and technicians to meet production goals.
• Train, coach, and support team members on assembly methods, testing procedures, quality standards, safety practices, and SOPs.
• Perform and oversee electronic component and PCBA assembly according to work instructions and specifications.
• Perform/verify board-level testing, inspections, and quality checks for compliance.
• Identify defects and process issues; communicate with production/quality leadership.
• Monitor production flow, balance workloads, remove bottlenecks, keep line moving safely.
• Troubleshoot routine issues and escalate when needed.
• Support material movement, line stocking, inventory tracking, and replenishment.
• Maintain accurate production counts and quality records.
• Keep work areas clean and compliant with ESD and safety requirements.
• Communicate status updates and staffing needs to Production Supervisor.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (safety, quality, efficiency).

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced PCB/PCBA Assembly Lead to provide hands-on leadership in a fast-paced electronics manufacturing environment. This role coordinates day-to-day workflow for assembly technicians/operators, supports production output, and ensures work is completed safely and in compliance with quality and ESD requirements.

Schedule and Pay

• Pay: $25.00/hr
• 1st shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00 A.M. - 3:30 P.M.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily work assignments for PCBA assembly operators and technicians to meet production goals.
• Train, coach, and support team members on:
  • assembly methods and board handling
  • testing/inspection procedures
  • quality standards, safety practices, and SOPs
• Perform and oversee electronic component and PCBA assembly according to work instructions, visual aids, and specifications.
• Perform/verify board-level testing, inspection, and quality checks to ensure compliance.
• Identify defects and process/material/equipment issues; contain impacted product and communicate to production/quality leadership.
• Monitor production flow, balance workloads, remove bottlenecks, and keep the line moving safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot routine assembly/testing/equipment issues and elevate when needed.
• Support material movement, line stocking, inventory tracking, and replenishment.
• Maintain accurate production counts, documentation, and quality records.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with ESD and safety requirements.
• Communicate status updates, staffing needs, and operational concerns to the Production Supervisor and partners.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (safety, quality, efficiency, productivity).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical/electronics training is a plus).
• 3+ years in manufacturing/production, including 1+ year in a lead or leadership role.
• Strong preference for experience in electronics manufacturing such as:
  • PCB/PCBA assembly
  • board handling
  • board-level testing
  • electronics inspection / quality
• Able to follow detailed work instructions, technical documents, and SOPs.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and communication/coaching ability.
• Basic computer skills and ability to document production accurately.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand/bend/move for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
