Job summary

Johnson Controls seeks a PCB Designer to design, test and sustain PCBAs and chiller control panels in the Chiller Controls Engineering team at the New Freedom, PA facility. Candidates must be within commuting distance or relocate, and must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

The role emphasizes analog/digital interface design, power-supply development, Altium schematic/layout, and compliance with UL/CE/FCC requirements. Experience with reliability principles is preferred.

Qualifications

• Required BSEE or BSCE or an Associate's degree in a related field; minimum of 3 years of experience.
• Familiarity with printed circuit board assembly design schematic, layout and signal integrity tools based on Altium. U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Preferred Experience with programmable logic.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain electronic hardware for chiller control.
• Design analog and digital interface circuits, power supply circuits, and proper interfacing to I/O.
• Create and maintain PCBAs including schematic and layout using Altium Designer.
• Obtain UL/CE/FCC approvals and support cost analyses for designs.
