Job summary

Technology Navigators in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior PCB Designer for a hybrid role (3 days on-site, 2 remote). You will design high-density multi-layer PCBs and HDI stack-ups, guiding products from schematic to manufacturing release.

The ideal candidate has strong high-speed, mixed-signal layout skills, impedance control, and power integrity optimization, and will manage ECAD workflows using Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or Siemens/Mentor Graphics in IPC/DFM compliance.

Qualifications

• Design high-density multi-layer PCBs and HDI stack-ups.
• Strong high-speed, mixed-signal layout with impedance control, diff pairs, length matching, and PI optimization.
• Manage ECAD workflows with Cadence Allegro, Altium, or Siemens/Mentor per IPC/DFM.

Responsibilities

• Design high-density multi-layer PCBs and HDI stack-ups from schematic to release.
• Execute high-speed, mixed-signal layouts with impedance control, diff pairs, length matching, and PI optimization.
• Manage ECAD workflows with Cadence Allegro, Altium, or Siemens/Mentor per IPC/DFM.
• Lead design reviews and mentor junior PCB designers.
• Support specialized hardware designs including ATE interfaces and reliability stress hardware.
• Experience in the semiconductor industry is essential.

Senior PCB Designer

Responsibilities & Qualifications

• Designed complex, high-density multi-layer PCBs and HDI stack-ups (<0.4mm pitch/WLCSP) from schematic capture to manufacturing release.
• Executed high-speed, mixed-signal layouts incorporating controlled impedance, differential pairs, length matching, and power integrity optimization.
• Managed end-to-end ECAD workflows using Cadence Allegro, Altium Designer, or Siemens/Mentor Graphics in compliance with IPC and DFM standards.
• Led design reviews, established layout best practices, and mentored junior PCB designers.
• Supported specialized hardware designs, including ATE board interfaces (HIBs, PIBs, Probe Cards) and semiconductor reliability stress hardware (HAST/HTOL).
• Experience working within the semi-conductor industry is a must
