Job description

Acara is looking for a skilled PCB Design Engineer to take the lead in developing internal design guidelines and executing the full lifecycle of printed wiring board (PWB) designs for one of our clients power supply products. From initial engineering concepts and schematics to layout, fabrication drawings, and manufacturing support, you'll ensure our designs are optimized for manufacturability (DFM) and quality.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of experience in PCB design/layout, surface-mount technology (SMT), and power supply applications.
• Strong proficiency with layout tools such as Altium Designer, Mentor Graphics, and related CAD software.
• Thorough knowledge of PWB fabrication, material science, and IPC/IEEE industry standards.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage component libraries and ECN processes.
• Note: Due to ITAR restrictions, this position requires U.S. citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status.
