Job summary

Technical Link LLC in Irvine, CA is seeking a senior PCB design engineer for a 6‑12 month onsite role. Responsibilities cover the full PCB design cycle for avionics systems, from requirements through bring-up, verification, and tests.

You will develop interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses, while supporting updates due to obsolescence and product improvements. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, at least 7 years of industry experience, and deep knowledge of

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated capability in complex circuit board design, bring‑up, signal/power integrity analysis, and validation.
  • Proven experience in designing electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, system level integration and troubleshooting.
  • In‑depth understanding of Analog/Mixed‑signal, Digital, or RF circuit components.
  • Detailed working knowledge of common test equipment, and CAD tools such as Altium.
  • Proven communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full PCB design cycle from requirements to performance tests.
  • Design, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems/subsystems.
  • Develop system interconnect diagrams and wire harnesses.
  • Support design updates driven by product improvements and obsolescence.
  • Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
  • Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams for new product deployment.
  • Mentor engineers and promote sound engineering practices.

  • Design, develop, integrate, and debug avionics systems/subsystems
  • Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses connecting systems within the air vehicle
  • Support design updates driven by product improvements, obsolescence, and evolving requirements
  • Conduct peer‑level and cross‑discipline design reviews
  • Work closely with cross‑functional engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to support new product development and active deployments in a fast‑paced environment

  • UAV experience highly desirable
  • Experience working in small to medium sized teams in a fast‑paced R&D environment
  • Familiarity with MIL‑spec hardware and harnessing
Education
  • Bachelor''s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
