Job summary

Sanmina is seeking a Lab Technician in Costa Mesa, CA to prepare micro-sections from circuit boards for final shipment and in-process evaluation. You will perform chemical analysis of plating solutions, cleaners, and etchants, and support QA with data entry and reporting.

Requirements include 2–4 years PCB manufacturing experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and ability to read customer specifications; familiarity with CVS and True Cham software is a plus, with Oracle/MRP experience

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent PCB experience preferred.
• 2-4 years PCB manufacturing experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with shop floor software and Oracle/MRP systems.
• Ability to read and understand customer specifications; knowledge of IPC 6012.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and evaluate cross sections for shipments and in-process evaluation.
• Complete evaluation forms, reports and perform data entry.
• Thermal stress samples as needed.
• Utilize CVS equipment and perform chemical analysis.
• Familiarity with True Cham software is a plus.
