Job summary

Maxonic is seeking a PCB Assembly Test Technician (2nd Shift) in Milpitas, CA, on-site for a contract role. The candidate will build and test cameras and PCBs in the production area, update documentation, and work with engineers to transition new products to manufacturing.

The ideal candidate holds a BSEE, can troubleshoot down to the component level, and demonstrates strong communication and collaboration skills. Overtime, day or night shifts, and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• BSEE from a technical school or equivalent required.
• Ability to test and troubleshoot PCBs at component level.
• Experience updating manufacturing documentation and procedures.

Job Title: PCB Assembly Test Technician (2nd Shift)

Job Type: Contract

Job Location: Milpitas, CA

Work Schedule: Onsite

Pay Rate: $38, Based on experience

Description:

• Looking for a highly motivated individual with a BSEE from a Technical School who can work independently with limited support from engineering and management.
• Build and test cameras and printed circuit assemblies in the production area.
• Update documentation when needed
• Work with engineer to bring new products to manufacturing
• Broad technical understanding of printed circuit boards
• Be able to troubleshoot down to component level
• Strong ability to update documents for a repeatable Manufacturing Process
• Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, and work in a collaborative style
• Good technical skills and proven engineering problem solving ability
• Must be willing to work overtime, day or night shift and weekends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering (BSEE) only (No other degrees will be considered)
