Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 2+ years of Test/Manufacturing Engineering or PCBA experience.
• Strong knowledge of SMT/PCBA manufacturing processes.
• Experience with ICT, Flying Probe, Functional Test, X-Ray, AOI, or related systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies and read schematics.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing test processes and procedures for PCBA and electronic products.
• Support and optimize test platforms including ICT, Flying Probe, Functional Test, and X-Ray systems.
• Troubleshoot PCB assemblies, test equipment, fixtures, and production-related issues.
• Analyze test data, equipment downtime, and failure trends to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions (NPI), production ramp-ups, and process validation activities.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Engineering teams to improve yield, efficiency, and product quality.
• Assist with test capacity planning, equipment utilization, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Test Engineer (Electronics Manufacturing / PCBA) | San Jose, CA

Are you a hands-on Test Engineer with experience supporting PCBA manufacturing, functional testing, and high-volume electronics production? A leading global manufacturer is seeking a motivated engineer to support test development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced production environment.

Open to all candidates, H-1B and EAD included.

• Number of openings: 1
• Shift: 1 Day Shift (Day Shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM)
• Employment type: Full-time, direct hire; exempt status
• Base salary range: $70,000 – $80,000 per year + Annual discretionary Performance Bonus
• Must have at least 2-3 years of hands on, direct or related experience working with PCBs

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 2+ years of Test Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or PCBA-related experience
• Strong knowledge of SMT and PCBA manufacturing processes
• Experience with ICT, Flying Probe, Functional Test, X-Ray, AOI, or related manufacturing test systems
• Ability to troubleshoot electronic assemblies, read schematics, and perform root cause analysis
• Experience supporting NPI and production manufacturing environments is highly preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
