Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of hardware/optics assembly experience.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math.
• Ability to use hand tools and devices to manufacture PCBs and other electronic assemblies.
• Ability to learn PCB assembly tasks.
• Ability to identify electronic components.
• Ability to identify solder non-conformance and correct them.
• Effective verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Reads and follows assembly prints, instructions, drawings, procedures for PCB manufacturing.
• Identify defects and suggest improvements to work instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment with care and precision.
• Assemble PCBs and modules from samples, wiring lists and process sheets.
• Maintain accurate material control within the work area.
• Inspect own work in the immediate area.
• Provide feedback to operations and support engineering as appropriate.
• Mentor lesser skilled employees.
