Discovery Therapy seeks an excellent Personal Care Assistant to join our Early Intervention team in Philadelphia County. You will work 1:1 with children in preschools, daycares or home environments, typically providing 4-7 hours of support per day.

The role requires a High School Diploma, CPR and First Aid certifications, and experience supporting children with behavioral challenges. Availability across full-time, part-time, and contract roles is expected.

Qualifications

• HS diploma required.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Experience with 3- to 5-year-olds with behavioral challenges preferred.

Responsabilités

Discovery Therapy is seeking an excellent Personal Care Assistant to join our Early Intervention community team within Philadelphia County.

Services will be for children with a variety of developmental and/or learning disabilities that are in the need of Personal Care Assistant Services.Available cases are located throughout Philadelphia County only.

We have full-time, part-time, and contract/per-diem positions available.*1099 Contractor Position*

The Personal Care Assistant will work directly, one-on-one (1:1) with children in preschools, daycares or home environment. Generally, the kiddos we help will receive support for 4-7 hours each day. The Personal Care Assistant therapist will work 1:1 with the child to ensure their success in preschool, daycare or home environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• One-on-One (1:1) support for kiddos
• Providing assistance to children who could have behavioral challenges, medical/physical limitation or a neurological diagnosis
• Implementing instructional strategies

Requirements:

• High School Diploma REQUIRED
• CPR and First Aid certifications REQUIRED
• Experience supporting children with behavioral challenges and self care needs in 3-5 age group PREFERRED
