Job summary

Discovery Therapy is seeking Personal Care Assistants to join our Early Intervention team in Philadelphia County. You will work 1:1 with children in preschools, daycares or home environments, providing tailored support to help them succeed.

Full-time, part-time and contract positions are available, with 1099 contractor options. CPR and First Aid certifications are REQUIRED, and experience with 3-5 age group children with behavioral challenges is PREFERRED.

Qualifications

Discovery Therapy is seeking an excellent Personal Care Assistants to join our Early Intervention community team within Philadelphia County.

Services will be for children with a variety of developmental and/or learning disabilities that are in the need of Personal Care Assistant Services.

We have full-time, part-time, and contract/per-diem positions available. *1099 Contractor Position*

The Personal Care Assistant will work directly, one-on‑one (1:1) with children in preschools, daycares or home environment. Generally, the kiddos we help will receive support for 4-7 hours each day. The Personal Care Assistant will work 1:1 with the child to ensure their success in preschool, daycare or home environment.

Responsibilities Include:

• One-on‑One (1:1) support for kiddos
• Providing assistance to children who could have behavioral challenges, medical/physical limitation or a neurological diagnosis
• Implementing instructional strategies
