Job summary

Asbury Communities' Bethany Village in Mechanicsburg, PA, is seeking a dedicated Home Health Aide to support residents with daily living activities and mobility.

You'll work with a caring team, receive benefits, and have opportunities for career growth; PRN status available and a focus on compassionate, person-centered care for older adults.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent requirement.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must possess a genuine passion for providing compassionate care to older adults.
• Relevant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, personal hygiene).
• Assist residents in preparing for and transporting to and from medical appointments, activities, and social programs.
• Checks residents' vital signs, measures weight and height, and records data as instructed; reports any variances to the Charge Nurse.
• Answers resident call lights promptly to attend to needs; frequently checks those who are unable to call for help.
• Assists residents to walk with or without self-help devices, as instructed.
