Vibra Healthcare in Mechanicsburg, PA is seeking Personal Care Aides to join our team at VibraLife, a rehabilitation center and senior living community offering short-term rehab, skilled nursing, and assisted living.

The PCA will support residents with daily living activities, meals, housekeeping and activities, ensuring health, safety and independence; qualifications include a high school diploma and nurse aide experience, certification preferred, CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years Nurse Aide experience.
• Current, valid Nursing Assistant certification preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy and ECG training preferred.
• Professional image required.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.

Hospital Details

VibraLife is a Rehabilitation Center and Senior Living Community comprised of a short-term rehabilitation/skilled nursing facility as well as an assisted living unit. Located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, Vibralife is a beautiful, one-story, state-of-the-art facility that includes the Vibra Rehabilitation Center and Vibra Senior Living. Expertly designed to address comprehensive care and living needs post injury or illness, VibraLife delivers a fully integrated care continuum for both patients and residents.

Full Time Evening Shifts 8hr

Responsibilities

The PCA is responsible for the implementation of resident services by assisting with activities of daily living, activity programs, housekeeping services and dining services. The provision of these services must be performed to ensure the health, welfare, safety and independence of our residents is of primary concern.

Required Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of experience as a Nurse Aide or other equivalent experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Nursing Assistant as applicable in the state of employment preferred.
• CPR/First Aid training preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience is preferred.
• Phlebotomy training and ECG training preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
