Job summary

Guardian Angel Senior Services, Inc. is hiring Personal Care Assistants across Massachusetts, including Great Barrington. Full-time and part-time positions are available with free training and certification provided.

Starting pay is $18/hour and up. Join us to help elderly and disabled individuals live safely and comfortably at home and enjoy a supportive, family-owned environment. We offer a $250 sign-on bonus, daily pay, mileage reimbursement, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Own vehicle and a valid driver's license are required.
• We offer training and certifications at no cost.
• Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• Compassionate, respectful, and dependable attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care (hygiene, dressing, meals).
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean home.
• Run errands such as grocery shopping.
• Prepare meals with client involvement when possible.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Perform routine cleaning (vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, bathrooms).
• Monitor and report changes in client condition.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
