Job summary

Lillington Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lillington, NC is seeking Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) to join our caring team. You will deliver hands-on, individualized care and support to residents, helping them maintain independence and dignity on a daily basis.

As part of the nursing team, you will collaborate with professionals to ensure high-quality care and engage residents in social and recreational activities while maintaining a safe, clean living environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active CNA certification in the state of practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care to residents according to care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents.
• Support mobility with safe transfers and positioning.
• Monitor health status and vital signs; report changes to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized living environment.
• Perform other duties to provide exceptional care.

What you'll do

• Provide individualized care to residents according to each resident's plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ALDs) including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Assist with mealtime activities, including feeding residents as needed.
• Assist residents with mobility, including transferring and positioning them safely.
• Monitor residents' health status and vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the nurse.
• Engage residents in social and recreational activities to promote overall well-being.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized living environment for residents.
• Perform other duties as required to provide exceptional care to each resident.

What you need
