Job summary

Patience In-Home Care PCA Services seeks a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide 1:1 daily living and personal care in clients' homes per an established care plan. The role emphasizes compassionate, reliable support, including light housekeeping, meal prep, and reminders, to help clients maintain independence and well-being.

A driver’s license is required for local errands and appointments. Hours are 16 per week (Mon, Wed, Thu & Fri, 1pm–5pm), with some weeks offering more hours in a

• Compassionate, patient demeanor and ability to provide patient-focused care.
• Ability to support daily living activities within a home-care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living and personal care per care plan.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean home.
• Drive client to appointments and run nearby errands (driver's license required).
• Meal preparation as advised by client and caregiver.
• Support with reminders for medications and schedules.
• Provide companionship and basic emotional support.
