Job summary

Scripps Health in California is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join a site-based Float Pool serving Mercy San Diego and Mercy Chula Vista. You will contribute to high-quality patient care and work as a key member of the clinical team.

You will assist patients with personal needs and daily living activities, collect data, maintain a safe environment, and support patient care under clinician direction. Additional duties include unit logistics, clerical tasks, equipment and supply handling,

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team.
• Assist patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and ensures the patient has a safe, organized environment.
• Assist with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician.
• Support the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties.

Job description
