The role requires strong communication, patience, and reliability, with physical ability to lift or assist clients as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a home support worker or in a similar role is preferred.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor required.
• Ability to follow care plans and adhere to medication schedules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to lift and assist clients with mobility, as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene assistance.
• Assist with medication management and administration, as directed by a healthcare professional.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities such as reading, conversation, and light exercise.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and cleaning.
• Assist with errands and transportation to appointments, as needed.
• Report any changes in the client's condition to the appropriate staff member.
• Other duties as assigned
