Job summary

Guardian Angel Senior Services seeks compassionate Personal Care Assistants to help elderly and disabled clients maintain independence at home. Training is provided, and you will follow individualized care plans to support daily activities and personal care.

You will work with a care team to monitor changes, assist with meals, light housekeeping, and transportation, while upholding dignity and confidentiality in every shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow individualized client care plans and communicate changes with the care team
• Prepare meals; assist or feed clients as needed in a pleasant manner
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to keep the client's environment neat and orderly
• Monitor supplies and place orders as needed per care plan
• Assist with rehabilitation exercises and treatments
• Encourage and assist with personal hygiene and grooming
• Provide transportation, run errands, and accompany clients on outings and shopping trips
• Maintain email access for schedules and updates
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information
• Document client records each shift and report any changes to the Supervisor
• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings

Guardian Angel Senior Services is seeking caring, reliable, and compassionate Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Companions to support elderly and disabled clients in maintaining their independence and quality of life in the comfort of their own homes.

If you are patient, flexible, and committed to treating others with dignity and respect, we want to hear from you. Prior home health care experience is helpful, but not required-we provide training and support to help you succeed.

Basic Function

To maintain the client's independence by assisting with activities of daily living in accordance with established care plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow individualized client care plans and communicate changes with the care team

• Prepare meals; assist or feed clients as needed in a pleasant manner

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry to keep the client's environment neat and orderly

• Monitor supplies and place orders as needed per care plan

• Assist with rehabilitation exercises and treatments

• Encourage and assist with personal hygiene and grooming

• Never lift a client from the floor-if a fall occurs, call Guardian Angel Senior Services or 911 in an emergency

• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Provide transportation, run errands, and accompany clients on outings and shopping trips

• Maintain email access for schedules and updates

• Provide emotional support and companionship

• Maintain strict confidentiality of client information

• Document client records each shift and report any changes to the Supervisor

• Attend required in-service training and staff meetings
