Job summary

ABA Homecare, LLC is seeking compassionate PCA/CNA caregivers for Conyers and Covington, GA, offering weekend shifts of 4–7 hours. The role focuses on in-home care for adults with disabilities, post-surgical needs, or cognitive impairment, assisting with daily activities to maintain independence.

Compensation ranges from $15.50 to $18.00 per hour; benefits include flexible hours, continuing education opportunities, and an incentive increase after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• PCA training program (GACCP) completed; CNA training/competency.
• Sympathetic attitude toward care of sick and elderly.
• Ability to read, write, and carry out directions.
• Experience with clinical documentation is a plus; on-the-job training may be provided.
• Must be 18 years or older; valid license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• TB test within last 6 months; CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities (bathing, dressing, meals) and ambulation.
• Take vital signs as needed and monitor client condition.
• Assess mental status daily and observe for injuries or wounds.
• Gather information from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family.
• Help with bedpan and incontinence care; assist with transfers.
• Maintain clean, sanitized client areas; change bed sheets.
