Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors is seeking experienced caregivers for the Spotsylvania, VA area to provide advanced mobility assistance and personal care. Roles include part-time or full-time schedules with 20.00 per hour compensation and 24/7 office support.

Ideal candidates have Hoyer lift experience, PCA/CNA certification if possible, and a compassionate approach to care while maintaining safety and dignity for clients. Training is available for non-certified applicants.

Qualifications

• PCA or CNA certification strongly preferred.
• Hands-on Hoyer lift experience required for this specialized assignment.
• Experience assisting clients who require maximum transfer assistance.
• Ability to perform essential physical responsibilities safely, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Hoyer lift and transfer equipment.
• Assist with transfers, positioning and mobility.
• Provide bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming and personal care.
• Assist with activities of daily living and meal preparation as needed.
• Protect client dignity, privacy, safety and comfort; follow care plan.
