Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors in Fredericksburg, VA seeks an experienced caregiver to provide companionship and hands-on personal care for a senior gentleman in his home. This part-time role includes ADLs, mobility assistance, meal prep, and transportation as needed.

Ideal candidates have prior caregiving experience, are compassionate, reliable, and able to complete PCA training if not certified. Valid driver’s license and insurance required.

Qualifications

• Previous professional or family caregiving experience is required.
• Comfortable with hands-on personal care: bathing, dressing, toileting, incontinence care, transfers.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Willing to complete PCA training within two weeks if not certified.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and assist with ADLs.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation.
• Meal preparation and feeding assistance when needed.
• Medication reminders and hydration monitoring.
• Offer companionship and supervise daily activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and laundry; errands as needed.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments.

Experienced Caregiver / Personal Care Aide – Fredericksburg, VA (22401)$18.00 per Hour | Part-Time | 24/7 Office SupportSeniors Helping Seniors is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregiver to provide companionship, personal care, and in-home support to a senior gentleman in Fredericksburg, Virginia (22401).We are looking to fill this position as soon as possible.
