Job summary

Seniors Helping Seniors is seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide in-home companionship and personal care for a senior in Stafford, Virginia (22554). You will assist with ADLs, bathing, dressing, and mobility, while ensuring dignity and safety in daily routines.

The role is PRN/Part-Time with opportunities for additional hours, based in the client’s home. A PCA or CNA certification is preferred but not required; training is provided if needed.

Qualifications

• Previous professional or family caregiving experience preferred.
• Must be comfortable providing hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Punctual, patient, and professional.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing and dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and social engagement.
• Prepare simple meals and snacks; assist with eating when necessary.
• Light housekeeping and laundry; maintain a clean, comfortable home.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and run errands as needed.
• Observe and report changes in client’s condition to the office.
