Job summary

Southern Hearts Homecare of Georgia inc in Montgomery, AL is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Assistant to help clients maintain independence and comfort in their daily lives. Qualifications

• Experience as Personal Care Assistant or caregiver preferred.
• Polite, professional, reliable, and effective communicator.
• Physically capable of performing required caregiving duties.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Prepare meals according to clients’ needs and preferences.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Assist clients with shopping and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with mobility and transfers when required.
• Follow each client’s plan of care and assigned task sheet.
• Observe and report changes in a client’s condition or behavior.
• Document services accurately and on time.
• Respond quickly and responsibly during emergencies.
• Protect clients’ privacy, dignity, and confidential information.
• Perform other authorized personal care duties as assigned.
