Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide one-on-one support to residents in daily routines, socialization, and overall well-being. The role emphasizes compassionate care, teamwork, and timely communication within a trusted, family-owned setting.

Two shift options are available: full-time evening from 11 pm to 7 am and part-time from 3 pm to 11 pm. The organization highlights competitive pay, benefits, and ongoing training to support career

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years or older.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• English proficiency for safe task performance.

Pay starts at $18.75-$19.75/hour with the opportunity to earn more based on experience.

PCA Responsibilities

• Help our residents live their lives to the fullest by assisting them with their routines throughout their day.
• Build bonds through companionship.
• Show patience, compassion and empathy in each engagement with all residents and their families.
• Assist residents in organizing their day and activities and above all, enjoy themselves.

PCA Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 18 years of age or older, except as permitted in 2800.54(d).
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and team‑oriented environment.
• Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening, sensitivity to others thoughts and feelings, timely and accurate reporting changes.
• Compassion and patience in all personal interactions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
