Job summary

Country Meadows Retirement Communities is seeking a PCA to provide one-on-one support to residents in their daily routines, socialization and well-being. You will build bonds, show patience and empathy, and assist residents in organizing their day and activities.

Responsibilities include helping residents live their lives to the fullest and ensuring their safety. A high school diploma or GED is required, with an emphasis on clear communication and teamwork.

Pay starts at $16.75-$19.75/hour (based shift preference), with the opportunity to earn more based experience.

Current Opportunities:

• Dayshift: 7am-3pm


• Overnight: 11pm-7am

PCA Responsibilities:

• Help our residents live their lives to the fullest by assisting them with their routines throughout their day.


• Build bonds through companionship.


• Show patience, compassion and empathy in each engagement with all residents and their families.


• Assist residents in organizing their day and activities and above all, enjoy themselves.

PCA Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.


• 18 years of age or older, except as permitted in 2800.54(d).


• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.


• Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening, sensitivity to others thoughts and feelings, timely and accurate reporting changes.


• Compassion and patience in all personal interactions.


• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.


• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
