Job summary

Country Meadows in Allentown, PA is seeking a PCA to provide one-on-one support to residents in daily routines, socialization and wellbeing. This role emphasizes compassion, patience, and teamwork in a warm, home-like setting.

Shifts available 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am with both full-time and part-time opportunities; pay starts at $16.75-$19.75 per hour and increases with experience. Comprehensive benefits and paid time off are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.

PCA Responsibilities:

• Help our residents live their lives to the fullest by assisting them with their routines throughout their day.
• Build bonds through companionship.

• Assist residents in organizing their day and activities and above all, enjoy themselves.

PCA Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED
• 18 years of age or older, except as permitted in 2800.54(d).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
• Skilled in communicating effectively with others, including careful listening, sensitivity to other thoughts and feelings, timely and accurate reporting changes.
• Compassion and patience in all personal interactions.
• Ability to perform the physical tasks required in this type of role.
• Have the ability to understand and speak English at a level which allows the safe, efficient performance of the job.
