Job summary
The Arizona Department of Health Services is seeking a PC Technician to provide IT Desktop Support for personnel. The role covers 2nd tier support for desktops and peripherals, plus testing and monitoring of LAN hardware and software to ensure stable performance.
The incumbent will support Health Services domains, Active Directory, and multiple platforms and applications. Requires 3+ years in desktop support or relevant certifications, with a strong emphasis on customer service and problem
Qualifications
- Requires at least three years of full‑time desktop support experience or one of the following certifications: CompTIA A+, Microsoft MCDST.
- Knowledge of PC hardware and Windows operating systems and MS Office.
- Understanding of networking concepts.
- Knowledge of Apple devices and enrollment into an MDM system.
Responsibilities
- Hardware upgrades, PC deployments, and ticket resolution.
- Software installation and configuration.
- Diagnose hardware/software issues.
- Provide training and assistance to staff.
- Prepare reports and document resolutions.
- Other duties as assigned.
