Job summary

Job description

As PC Technician, you will support and manage all end user hardware and software technology. This position will work independently in a team environment to install, configure, troubleshoot and manage end user software and equipment used to serve our members and employees. As a PC Technician with Community First Credit Union, you will:
  • Provide hands-on technical support to employees across multiple CFCU branches, troubleshooting PCs, laptops, peripherals, printers, software, connectivity, and application issues
  • Install, configure, deploy, and maintain end-user technology, including reimaging and provisioning PCs, installing software and security patches, managing device images, and centralized enterprise support tools
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues using established troubleshooting processes, escalating more complex network, PC, software, and technology issues to the Systems team when appropriate
  • Manage help-desk requests and technical documentation by logging calls, opening and updating tickets, documenting solutions and procedures, and supporting help-desk staff with technical questions
  • Support technology infrastructure and assets by maintaining physical inventory daily, troubleshooting end-user devices, and assisting with technology rollouts and upgrades
  • Identify opportunities to improve technology processes and performance while staying current on technology trends and providing a responsive, solutions-focused experience that protects the confidentiality of employee and member information
We are looking for a combination of:
  • Hands-on experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PCs, laptops, peripherals, and software in an enterprise environment
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and determine appropriate solutions or escalation paths
  • Experience with PC imaging, software deployment, patching, and device provisioning
  • Two or more years of experience providing PC, desktop, or end-user technology support preferred
  • Strong desire to collaborate and contribute as part of a team, working closely with the Systems team and other departments to solve problems and achieve shared goals
  • Experience working with help-desk or ticketing systems
  • Familiarity with network connectivity, printers, peripherals, and basic cabling
  • Ability to manage multiple requests, adjust priorities, and stay organized in a changing environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
  • Drive to make a positive impact on the technology experience of employees and members
  • Associate degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and protecting company and member information
