Job summary

FedTec is seeking a PC Systems Specialist at Fort Bragg, NC, on-site to plan, install, and maintain PC systems and related software and hardware. The role requires engaging with end users to identify requirements and delivering tailored solutions, with an emphasis on security and reliability.

Qualified candidates will have a DoD Secret (or higher) clearance, CompTIA Security+ certification, and a strong background in hardware/software support in mid-to-large environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with 5+ years of relevant PC experience; OR Associate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting PC hardware, software, and peripherals in mid-to-large scale environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently or in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; US Citizenship or lawful permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and install new and existing PC systems.
• Consult with end users to determine hardware/software needs based on requirements.
• Develop programs or customize COTS software to meet identified needs.
• Install, configure, and maintain PC hardware, peripherals, and system software.
• Administer telecommunications protocols as required and provide troubleshooting.
• Train and support end users in the use of computer systems, software, and hardware tools.
• Document system configurations and user instructions; ensure IT security and access compliance.
