Job summary

FedTec seeks a PC Systems Specialist to plan, design, install, and maintain PC systems at Hunter AAF, GA (On-Site). The role supports moderately complex applications and works with end users to identify requirements, delivering tailored solutions through hardware optimization and software adaptations.

Required are a Bachelor’s or Associate degree with related experience, verifiable DoD Secret security clearance, and CompTIA Security+ certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) with 5+ years of relevant experience OR Associate Degree (AA) with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting PC hardware, software, and peripherals in a mid-to-large scale environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and install new and existing PC systems.
• Consult with end users to determine hardware and software needs based on operational requirements.
• Develop programs or customize COTS software to meet identified needs.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, peripherals, and system software.
• Administer telecommunications protocols as required and provide troubleshooting support.
• Train and support end users in using computer systems, software, and hardware tools.
• Document system configurations, processes, and user instructions.
• Ensure compliance with IT security and system access policies.
