Job summary
PC Laptops in Orem, Utah is hiring a Computer Repair Technician to troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers. Work involves assisting customers in-person, by phone, or online and performing OS installations and driver updates.
Role requires repairing hardware with diagnostic software, voltmeters, and soldering equipment. Strong communication and multitasking are essential; in-store locations include Riverdale or Layton as noted.
Qualifications
- Must have a High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must know how to repair Windows computers using diagnostic software.
- Experience in installing/upgrading Windows & Apple OS and drivers/software.
- Must be able to use voltmeters, soldering irons and repair tools.
- Excellent communications skills and ability to multitask.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair desktops, laptops, tablets, and printers.
- Provide in-person, phone, or electronic support to clients.
- Install and upgrade Windows and Apple operating systems.
- Download and install drivers and software for hardware requirements.
- Assist customers with hardware and software questions.
