Job summary

World Relief seeks an experienced professional in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) group programming for vulnerable refugees. The role requires implementing PC Gaps locally and conducting internal audits to ensure proper PC documentation.

As a PC Program Officer for Groups and Gaps Services, you will monitor compliance, train field staff, and collaborate with the MHPSS technical assistance team to deliver compassionate, self-sufficiency-oriented services across World Relief's U.S.

Qualifications

  • Experience in mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) group programming for refugees.
  • Experience implementing PC Gaps locally and conducting internal audits for proper PC documentation.
  • Ability to serve as a subject matter expert and to train field staff for effective, compassionate services.

POSITION SUMMARY:

World Relief seeks an individual experienced in Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) group programming for especially vulnerable refugees who is passionate about expanding best practices across the network. The individual must also have experience in implementing PC Gaps locally and conducting internal audits to ensure proper PC documentation. The PC Program Officer for Groups and Gaps Services will serve as a subject matter expert, monitoring offices for compliance within the PC program and supporting training efforts to equip field staff to deliver effective, compassionate, self-sufficiency-oriented services to refugees. A successful candidate will be able to work collaboratively with the field and within the MHPSS technical assistance team. They must be detail and excellence oriented. They will combine technical expertise in MHPSS group facilitation and gaps program implementation with strong communication and organizational skills to ensure high-quality programming across World Relief's U.S. network.
