Job summary

CAE, a global aviation training leader, seeks a PC-12 NGX Instructor to deliver ground school and simulator training for Initial, Recurrent, and Specialty courses. You will tailor instruction to individual needs, track progress, and provide actionable feedback through briefs and debriefs.

The role emphasizes delivering standardized training, meeting CAE standards, and maintaining safety while engaging learners with strong communication and feedback skills.

Qualifications

  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate.
  • FAA CFI or CFII rating.
  • Minimum 1,000 total flight hours.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based programs.
  • Fluent in English (spoken, read, and written).

Job description

The PC-12 NGX Instructor delivers ground school and simulator training for Initial, Recurrent, and Specialty courses. This role prioritizes each customer’s progress by tailoring instruction to individual training needs, targeting areas for improvement, and providing constructive, actionable feedback through briefings and debriefings.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver standardized training in classroom and simulator environments.
  • Provide Initial, Recurrent, and differences training.
  • Conduct training in accordance with SIMCOM by CAE standards and safety requirements.
  • Communicate effectively through verbal, written, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Evaluate customer progress and provide constructive feedback to support learning objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
  • FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate.

Physical Requirements
  • Constantly ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
  • Occasionally move into various positions, including confined spaces.
  • Remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods, including standing or sitting.
  • Occasionally move about to accomplish tasks.
  • Occasionally lift, carry, adjust, push, pull, or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasionally perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, or fingers.
