Job summary

Brittain Resorts & Hotels is hiring a Guest Service Agent in Myrtle Beach, SC. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling check-ins/outs, room assignments, and payments, while providing exceptional service and creating memorable experiences.

You will greet guests, process registrations, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance. The role requires flexibility, strong communication, and teamwork to support a smooth resort operation.

Overview

Guest Service Agents act as the first point of contact for our guests. In this position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, blocking guest rooms and processing guest registrations, processing accurate payment transactions, submitting housekeeping and maintenance work order request forms, and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Guest Service Agent responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Greet and interact with guests in a genuine, friendly, and professional manner
• Block guest rooms and process guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible
• Process guest check‑outs
• Process accurate transactions, including but not limited to cash and credit card payments
• Conduct call‑backs to inquire about guests’ experiences
• Resolve guest complaints; assist guests in all inquiries in connection with the resort services, in‑house events, directions, local attractions, check cashing, safety deposit boxes, etc
• Submit housekeeping and maintenance work order request forms
• Verify registration cards against computers to ensure accuracy of name, form of payment, and other pertinent information
• Inventory guest room keys according to policy and request re‑keying as necessary
• Answer incoming telephone calls and transfer calls to the appropriate department or guest room
• Log all calls and submit housekeeping and maintenance work orders. Communicate with all departments. Follow up with guests in a timely manner
• Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence or heavy volume in other front office areas
• Other duties as assigned
