Job summary

Brittain Resorts & Hotels is seeking a friendly Front Desk Agent to welcome guests, process registrations, handle payments, and coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance.

You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a memorable guest experience with accurate transactions and courteous service at our Florida resort.

Weekend availability required; previous hotel front desk experience preferred; strong communication and teamwork are essential as part of a diverse, service-driven team.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Prior hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Check guests in and out efficiently.
• Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the hotel facilities and services.
• Assist guests with reservations and booking arrangements.
• Manage phone calls and reservations effectively.

Overview

Front Desk Agents act as the first point of contact for our guests. In this position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, blocking guest rooms and processing guest registrations, processing accurate payment transactions, submitting housekeeping and maintenance work order request forms, and creating a memorable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Front Desk Agent responsibilities include, but are not limited to;

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Check guests in and out efficiently
• Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate information about the hotel facilities and services
• Assist guests with reservations and booking arrangements
• Manage phone calls and reservations effectively
• Process payments and maintain guest accounts
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality business, team members may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the resort, including weekends and holidays
• Previous customer service experience required
• Prior hotel front desk experience preferred
• Passion for providing exceptional service to guests and team members
• Responsibility, reliability, and honesty

• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors
